7 Awesome Facts About OneBrownGuy
Heather Dugan has tagged me to list 7 random or weird facts about myself. This is a chance I have been dying for, to write about me! Because these are about me, your favorite brown guy, they can no longer be considered weird facts. They are all awesome facts! The only difficult part of this was to limit my list to only 7. I know you are drooling with anticipation, so here you go:
1: I enjoy chick-flicks. So what! There is nothing wrong with having a Hugh Grant movie collection. I am secure in my awesomeness and don’t need to prove anything to anyone!
2: I frown at my food when eating. My mom says this is because I had an operation when I was a baby and was denied food. So, I scowl at it assuming it is going to get taken away from me. Don’t get me wrong, I love food! I just look angry at it.
3: I also leave one bite remaining after almost every meal. I didn’t even realize that I do this. Again, my mom says that I did this as a baby. I would spit out the last spoonful at whoever was feeding me. She is convinced I did this just to prove to the world I only do what I want to do.
4: I once had a few too many and thought I could get to Narnia by leaping head first into a closet. I couldn’t see the back of this closet, so I made the natural assumption that it lead to an alternate universe. It didn’t work out. I smacked my head and fell backwards. I then told that closet that I would be back after a few more beers, that Narnia couldn’t keep me out forever.
5: I once rode my motorcycle at a speed of 235 kmh. That is FAST! I got pulled over 8 times for speeding in 4 months but didn’t get one ticket. My trick? Ridiculous honesty. C’mon, the cops know exactly what I was doing!!!
6: I once got so drunk with my friend Dave that we decided to take a vacation to Mexico…that night! This is a lot easier to do in movies. We ended up roaming from terminal to terminal and finally passed out in an airport lounge. When I woke up hours later I decided I should probably get to work.
7: When I was in grade 8 art class I was day dreaming. The teacher was asking random students what colors you mix to create another color she would name. She noticed I was not paying attention and asked me “how do you get brown?” Me, not even knowing what subject I was in, responded with “I don’t know, I was born this way.”
I am picking a mix of blogs that I either check every day or that I just randomly clicked on to carry this forward. These blogs also have a very high awesomeness factor to them: JohnChow, ZacJohnson, Natebal, Factory-Tech, OutlookonEverything, TerenceChang and Madtomatoe.
