May Update – Sorry For Going MIA

Hey there, friends.  It seems like I have done this all too often since I took that stinker of a month in March.  I just kinda go missing.  Unfortunately, this was a very busy May for me.  It seemed that every day had things happening right away that occupied the trading times I like, which is the morning.  I did try to keep on top of things and get some market related studying done, but I can’t say I had enough focus to even attempt trading.  Keep in mind there is like 15 grand in my account…I’d like to not waste it just because I want to tell you about something.

May was always going to be a busy month for me, I just didn’t expect it to be this busy.  It was my moms bday at the start of the month.  My brother decided to come up from Florida for a week and that gave us plenty of excuses to meet up around town.  Mid month was my birthday and that celebration ate up a solid 4 days in a row.  I don’t remember much.  I do remember grabbing about 16 people and heading to a poutine restaurant!

Magical.  Absolutely magical.  So it took me a while to sober up and remove the clogs in my arteries.  Once I did that I figured I could get back to my normal schedule.  Not so much.  Of course we had a house guest here who stayed in my office so I lost my trading desk for a week.  That was kind of balls.  Luckily, I had something to keep me busy: Uncharted 4!  For those of you who live under a rock, this is a video game for PS4 that is absolutely amazing!  It weaves such a magical story that by the end of it, I was just exhausted.  Satisfied and exhausted.  It was as if I accomplished all the things that happened and I was too beat up to celebrate.  I needed time to relax and think about all that was done.  If you haven’t played this, you’re wrong.

So with all that being done, I figured this week would be a better time for me to get back into the swing of things with trading.  Yup, nothing really on schedule now.  Aaaaaaaaand I went and broke my foot.  I did it at work so it comes with a bunch of paper work and the such.

Yup, thats my ultra-naked foot selfie!  The break is hidden at this angle, there is a better one but the doctor was in the office then and I didn’t think there was a way for me to sneak the shot.  I’m sure I could have asked, but what fun is that?!

Now that I am hobbled and can’t really move around much, I am hoping that I am able to spend some more time paying attention to the markets and getting involved again.  I really don’t have any excuses now!  I will do my best to entertain next week.  In the meantime you can check my Instagram account (right hand pane) and follow me.  That’s where you can follow all my day to days and not just trading related.
