Maybe You Should Keep Driving

This is a pretty funny picture.  A friend sent me this one because it is from her home town of Fort Erie, Ontario.  This is right near Niagara Falls, about an hour and a half away from Toronto.  I have visited many times when she is back visiting and I have to admit that the place is a little depressing.  It seems like the only business that is doing well is the WalMart.  After seeing this sign, I am thinking that people should probably just drive around Fort Erie.

    Being that Fort Erie is my hometown, I need to clarify the reason for us having that morbid sign up. Our hospital was recently shut down completely and the town and region have been forcefully rallying against it. In fact, the doctor who delivered me as a baby was arrested for mischief and theft under $5000!!! Some medical staff were trying to remove expensive, life-saving equipment that was being placed in a Niagara Falls hospital instead. Basically, say a prayer before coming to Fort Erie b/c you’re screwed if you get sick.
