I have a thing about watching TV shows.  I don’t do it.  I wait for the previous season to be released on DVD and then catch up all at once.  This is how I handled catching up on 6 seasons of LOST all in one month (thanks LD).  I finally broke my rule at the strong urging of my friend Nik.  He knows how much I love the show How I Met Your Mother - Particularly NPH’s role as Barney Stinson.  I have posted about Barney’s crib and Barney’s best pickup line.  This new clip replaces that best pickup line.  In this episode, we learn all about the various pickup tricks Barney uses from his playbook.  This is by far the coolest pickup method ever!  I feel like this is something I have the technical skills to pull off.  Hmmmmm.  While I work on that, enjoy the clip.

Watching season 4 of How I Met Your Mother has me thinking about the wisdom that the Barney Stinson character lays on us.  NPH is amazing!  In this classic scene we have Barney showing us what is, quite possibly, the best pick up line ever.  I haven’t ever used this line or seen is used, but my god it is glorious.  Enjoy!

It’s time for more awesomeness from Barney Stinson.  A short while back I posted about the Crazy/Hot Scale.  Here we get a little more personal.  We get a rare peak into Barney’s crib.  This man is a genius.  No more setup is needed.  Once again - learn it, know it, love it!

I was at a friends place the other day watching episodes of How I Met Your Mother and it really got me thinking about how awesome the Barney Stinson character is.  He balances out the other pussies on the show who spend the whole time whining about not being married.  Barney (played by N.P.H.!) is all about having sex with as many women as possible and being awesome.  He also has come up with what pretty much equals a bible for guys: The Bro Code.  There is actually a published version so I suggest you run to a book store or hook up some Amazon action and get this thing delivered to your ass.  I figure I should post some random moments of awesomeness that Barney has brought us.  Today’s post: the crazy/hot scale.  Watch it.  Learn it.  Know it.  Love it!
