I have been debating whether to blog about this or not, considering it is a very personal thing. I try to keep things light on here and I really do avoid getting serious. In the end I figure why the hell not! I recently had an experience that is pretty new. I had someone from my past get back in my life. We hung out a little bit and she told me how she never stopped loving me and what she wanted was a life with me. She said all the right things. I am not normally a big fan of dating someone I had already dated in the past. My previous thinking was that we had our time and should just move on. I had moved on. I loved her before and I knew what I was giving up when I broke up with her the first time. Unfortunately I also think the best of people and refuse to make them pay for past mistakes. It wasn’t that I still loved her, it was that I thought she had good qualities and that I was willing love her all over again. Boy was I wrong! After leading me down this path for a week she randomly changed her mind with little explanation. Now, having dealt with this girl in the past I knew something weird could always just hit me out of the blue. She just wanted to get me thinking we were together so that she could end it with me. Playing some form of games with people you just start dating is one thing. Finding someone who has moved on, telling them you love them, convincing them that you should consider a life with them, lying the whole way through just so you can end it is about the cruelest thing a person can do. My guess is that she just wanted that power. Well, my response was pretty calm. I told her that, for her sake, I hope Karma ignores this incident. I do not bring up this story as a way to get even. I have no ill will towards her. I wish her well in her journey. This is supposed to be a message of hope. There are people out there that are just bad people. No amount of covering up for their actions or ignoring aspects of their personality can change who they are. Their bad nature is probably slapping you in the face every day. Life is all about choices. You are choosing to let them hurt you! You cannot blame a bad person for having a negative affect on you. It’s all up to you. This person had brought negativity to my life many times before, and she managed to keep staying in my life through deceit and taking advantage of my forgiving nature. I do not regret this. It is what it is. It proves only that she was not for me, and the universe gave me the ample proof I needed to never doubt that again. Maybe you are in a bad relationship and you wonder how your luck is so bad that this is your lot in life. Take a look again - maybe you should be thankful that the universe is doing everything it can to prove something to you. You are being shown that this person goes against your very nature. Everything you need is in front of you. All the signs are there. What are you waiting for? It’s your move. I know some people who might need this message of hope. Maybe my honesty can help them to face their choices.
What is next for me? I continue to hang out with my friends and work towards being a firefighter. The Month of May is pretty big. My mom’s bday is tomorrow. Mothers day is on Sunday. My birthday is next week. I turn 32…wow…it looks weird to type it. I just laughed about a loud fart. Are 32 year olds supposed to do that? I have resolved to try something new. I always meet amazing people when I am out. It is definitely a passion of mine. On any drinking night I usually end up with some random friends as the night goes on. I am now going to expand my reach. I think I am going to give the online dating thing a go! I have had many friends with much success in the past and now it might be time for me to give it a shot. Being such a technology advocate, you’d have thought this would have been my first choice for dating! Let’s see what the future holds! Since I hit you with some serious stuff, I owe you a comic! Here is a funny one about dating from Cyanide & Happiness.
I have been been posting awesome web comics from Cyanide & Happiness for as long as I have had this blog. Little did I know they did animated shorts as well! So, here it is. Enjoy!

Sorry for the gap in posts. I have been ultra busy doing absolutely nothing. Thursday night I was out for Boobs Night. It was a breast cancer thingy that I was invited to. I would love to post more info about it, but I have absolutely no pics! And, since I drank my body weight, I don’t even have many memories. But, I am a firm supporter of drinking for good causes. Somehow, it makes the hangover a little bit better when you know you did a little good. My hats off to the organizers of the event. I would post names, but I didn’t get permission. The rest of the weekend was a bit of a blur too. Hanging out with people, food and wine. The usual! Sunday was my hockey teams playoffs. We managed to win both games to win our division! We now get to go on to other tournaments. Yay us! Anyways, I think it’s time for a comic. Since I have been in a slightly foul mood I have chosen something slightly depressing. Depressing, yet still awesome! Enjoy and I hope to bring you some good stuff this week.

It has been a few days since my last post. I really should apologize for that. Someday, maybe I will. I am FINALLY done my second semester at school. I had a final exam on Friday and I had a practical test and project due as well. On Saturday I went out with some friends to celebrate and I drank all the booze in Toronto. All of it. Go ahead…check your fridge. It’s gone. I drank it. So, Sunday was a write off. I managed to drag my ass out of bed for my hockey game at night. Since I really don’t have anything else going on I figure a comic will give you some value for stopping in today. Here is another gem from Cyanide and Happiness.
Another end to a week end. This time I was busy doing personal things, as opposed to fire ground training. I had a lot of school stuff to take care of but still managed to get to Hamilton, ON for one party and then up to King City, ON for a house warming. All in all, a good weekend! This week I have Wednesday and Thursday off so I am looking forward to getting some things done. Hopefully I will be able to get some trading done too! As always, you will be the first to know if I do make a trade. Since this is either your Sunday night, or Monday morning (depending on when you read this) I will give you something funny to read. Enjoy!
Hell week is finally over for me! I just finished writing 5 final exams in 4 days. I have to admit that I was completely burned out. I had absolutely no desire to do any studying and I am pretty sure my marks on those exams will reflect that. I walked into most classes with anywhere from a 90% - 95% average. I am pretty sure those numbers will drop into the 80’s once they have added everything up. Oh well. When you are as awesome as me you can find it hard to be motivated. I still have one major exam next week in my medical class. On that weekend I have to go in to do a practical exam. It’s kinda cool, they have actors come in and they create a scenario that I will have to be the first responder in.
In other news it’s about fucking time that the weather started to warm up! I checked my archives and I was golfing on April 14th last year with Johal. Then on the 19th it was hot enough to wear shorts and we went golfing at Nobleton Lakes. Tomorrow looks to be really nice and I am dying to do something summer-ish. I might get some swings in at a driving range when I am done my morning class. If I do something cool I will be sure to get you more details. To be honest, I am looking forward to some boring days with school winding down for the semester.
Since I always try to bring you something fun, here is a comic from Explosm. It is a little old because it is about Easter, but it is good enough that I really should have featured it much earlier. Enjoy!
No trade for me last night. I was hoping to make up for a bad (yet profitable) trade from the previous night. I went to the gym and when I got home I planned to fire up the charts. Instead of trading, I went to see “Taken” with a buddy. I posted about how I was dying to see this movie quite a while ago. I finally saw it and was not disappointed. It was exactly what I expected…non stop action! This thing was like a slightly longer episode of 24. Liam Neeson kicks ass. He kills everyone in this thing. So, I don’t have something Forex related for you today. I will probably not be trading tonight because I have a hockey game in the evening. But, you never know! Instead I will give you another comic from Explosm. This really takes hangman to the next level!
Sorry for the extremely late post today everyone. I got caught between a bunch of tests today and studying for tests and a presentation tomorrow. Whoa…flashback to when I was a punk student in my teens. Weird. Now that I know all there is to know about myocardial infarctions, I need to relax. What better way than with a comic that has nothing to do with anything? C & H can always be counted on for that. Check out their latest…

This is new. A web comic that actually has some relevance to me. As you all should know, I am back in school doing a firefighter pre service course. It is 3 semesters of full time school to prepare you for a career as a firefighter. That covers half of this C & H comic. About the strippers…hmmm…well…I like strippers! As for an update with everything else going on: I haven’t traded the last couple days because I have been busy either studying or playing hockey. I may not be able to trade tonight either as I have an essay to write and a test to study for. FOCK…I thought I was in school to learn how to put water on fire! If I do manage to squeeze in a trade then you will be the first to know. Anyways, here is that comic:

No trade for me this morning. I have plans to go out and I don’t have time to watch the charts. I am looking at them right now and I don’t see any pattern. I could just enter a trade but it would be a total guess. I might as well throw all my money in a poker game if that was how I traded. Anyways, I have another video of Chubbs that I still have to throw together. I am hoping to have that done sometime soon. For today, you get a C & H cartoon. This is just kinda funny. Not only that, it moves. That makes it twice as awesome. Enjoy!
