You know, it’s time to be a little more positive about things. I often post fails (courtesy of FailBlog) on this site. It’s funny. We all laugh at the stupidity. Everyone goes home happy. I figured that we could stand to see some awesome pics as well. Moments caught that are complete wins! Thanks to EpicWinFTW I am able to bring you a little sample. Sorry for the infrequency of posting recently. I will be more attentive to helping cure your bores going forward

I am back on Canadian soil. Unfortunately, I am also back in Canadian weather. After spending the last 9 days in shorts and flip flops and I pretty pissed off about having to wear a jacket. Damn it’s cold up here! I am happy to be back in my own bed though. Below is a nice sample of some of the pics I got while I was down there. Some of them are pretty random. The last few show how I took a private jet for my flight back to Toronto. I have to tell you, this is the only way to fly. On a normal commercial flight you have to show up 3 hours before the departure in order to get through the anal probes that the new security rules require. For the flight home, we showed up 15 minutes before take off! No security steps. The flight was faster and smoother…not to mention more comfortable. Upon arrival, all I did was walk 10 feet from the jet to the limo. No dealing with immigration or customs. I think this is the way I will have to travel from now on. Firefighters make enough to pay for private jets, right?

It has been a while since my last post, and I do apologize for that. I have been busy running around and doing nothing. Seriously. I have accomplished a million little tasks that I need to do, but I can’t seem to remember any of it when trying to sum up my week. Oh well. In order to provide you some Wednesday fun I thought I would hit up good old Fail Blog for some awesome fails. Here is a nice little sample. I wish I had more to post but I am off to a friends place. Ah, the life of the unemployed. Enjoy your hump day!

My busy schedule continues, so I don’t seem to have the time to come up with thoughtful posts. Wait a minute, I never come up with thoughtful posts. I write about drinking and the stupid things people do. OK, so I am pretty much doing what I always do then! This weekend is a little different as I have an aptitude test for a local fire department on Sunday. That means no drinking for me on Saturday . Other than school I have been busy with my social schedule lately. I know, a real tough problem to have! I was going through some pictures on Facebook and noticed a couple that were completely awesome! My buddy Chris made a jack-o-lantern on Halloween. That’s not what’s awesome. What’s awesome is that it looks like the fucking Death Star! Check it out below. My friend Grant also posted a pretty cool pic. His was an artistic expression of frustration. In this particular case, the frustration was with his Blackberry Pearl Flip phone. Last time he visited Toronto we went out for a drink and he bitched for a solid 5 minutes about his phone. Finally, a few months later, I guess he had enough. Check out the awesome results below. At the very end of this post I always try to give you something random. This is a video of a bulldog playing a video game! Seriously, we have probably all seen videos of bulldogs skateboarding - but this guy takes it to new levels! Since I am going to be lazy this weekend I should be able to post something. Have a great weekend!

If you ever need to see stupidity then you can always pop over to FailBlog. I try to stop in there once a week to keep up. I have praised them before. No need for me to ramble on again. Here are a couple gems that were uploaded recently.
*Yup…you have to pay almost double to get real chicken!
*Either he posted the answer to the wrong question, or he totally misunderstood the question - either way.
*Really? No shit!

Gotta love Failblog. Most people wake up on a Sunday nice and hung over. Well, most of my friends wake up on Sundays hung over. Usually there are good stories from the Saturday night. Maybe someone got too drunk. Maybe someone even fell down. Every once in a while someone has something absolutely crazy/funny happen to them. Something that was an innocent situation that turned into hilarious disaster. What is absolutely rare is to have that moment of stupidity caught on camera. Not just the result. The actual moment. We have an example of that rare gem right here. This girl has (had) long hair. When she leans in at a dinner table for a picture she should probably be aware of where the candles are.

Ah, to be back in the day. You know - the days before I was ever born. When someone of my color wasn’t allowed in many places. When women were simply devices by which a man could father some kids. When white males lived in happy ignorance. Well, in a large part of North America that is still the case. I ramble. Here are some creepy ads from back in the day. Back then - these were just everyday ads for common products. They weren’t even trying to push any envelopes! When we look back at these they look a lot creepier. You can check out WeirdyNews for the entire list. Below is a sample of some of my faves.
Firstly I just want to say that I probably wont be doing any more Forex trading this week. It is the end of vacation number 2 and I just don’t have time. I will still be posting something fun for everyone to enjoy each day. I run into one problem with my folks all the time. I am from the Internet era. They are from the…well…the before-Internet era. They haven’t totally adjusted to modern times. One of the biggest problems is getting them to use technology. My mom (and most peoples moms) are guilty of this. They think the computer can kill them and the neighbours with a massive explosion if they hit the wrong button. Hell, they think the PVR will steal their retirement savings and spit in their face. I have often wondered what life is like through their eyes. Gizmodo recently posted a little pic of how Grandma sees the remote control. This pretty much sums up all my suspicions about older people.
My last day of vacation is upon us. In this time I would love to be able to reflect on the good times I had. My only problem with doing that is that I don’t remember everything! Not to worry, I am back to work for 4 days before going on vacation for another week. This time I hope to stay a little more low key. I plan to continue doing my evening trading as best I can. I am rambling. For this last day off I figured I would post something fun. I can always count on the web comic XKCD for a good chuckle. Below, you will find an image that perfectly explains the word “frustration.”
This post actually applies to two posts I had last week. This is the 2nd time in a few days I have hit up EnlighFailBlog for some entertainment. I already ragged on the girl who claimed to be one of the “sexist women of MySpace.” The below pic takes it up a notch. We can ignore the apostrophe excess and just focus on the one major problem. A missing letter can change everything! Now, this also applies to my post about the 17 dollar gangsta. Even if the below guys did manage to spell the word rapper correctly, they do have a major problem. They are rolling in a white CRV. I see nothing gangsta about that!
