Golfing At Horseshoe Resort

This is the end of my vacation week. I only managed to get one trade in. Sorry if you have been coming on here everyday looking for details about a Forex trade. I did manage to do some other cool things though! On Thursday I went golfing at Horseshoe Resort just outside of Barrie, Ontario. My friend Johal and I found a last minute deal and we jumped all over it. It rained earlier in the day so the course was empty. I was cool with that as it made our round very quick. Conditions were awesome for most of the day. The rain came down hard around the 16th hole, but then it quickly went away and we got to finish up. Johal took a massive 7 stroke lead after the front 9. I came back a bit on the back 9 but I still ended the day 2 strokes back. The course was challenging as hell. Lots of bunkers and narrow approaches. The distance on all the holes kept us honest as well. On most of the par 4’s we were still looking at a long club as our 2nd shot even after a good drive. Hell, I once pulled out the driver on a par 3! Once we did get on the green we were met with extremely tricky breaks. These things were not easy to read. Check out some of the shots below.

This is a long-freaking-distance par 5. It felt like it was 800 yards.

Johal and I just thought this sign was cool. It echoed our thoughts of this one group we got caught behind.

This hole had a barn beside the tee box. I don’t know why I added this, I just think barns are cool.

This hole just looked awesome with the rays of sunshine coming down.

There is Johal playing a wood off the fairway on the pretty hole. His form actually looks pretty good!

Now here is my form. I have a very compact swing. It is ugly as hell but I still manage to get the job done.
