C & H: Last Words

No trade for me last night.  I was hoping to make up for a bad (yet profitable) trade from the previous night.  I went to the gym and when I got home I planned to fire up the charts.  Instead of trading, I went to see “Taken” with a buddy.  I posted about how I was dying to see this movie quite a while ago.  I finally saw it and was not disappointed.  It was exactly what I expected…non stop action!  This thing was like a slightly longer episode of 24.  Liam Neeson kicks ass.  He kills everyone in this thing.  So, I don’t have something Forex related for you today.  I will probably not be trading tonight because I have a hockey game in the evening.  But, you never know!  Instead I will give you another comic from Explosm.  This really takes hangman to the next level!

A Movie That Looks Pretty F*cking Cool: Taken

It isn’t too often that I am desperate to see a movie in the theatres.  I have a 46 inch 1080p LCD tv and a blu-ray player.  I don’t need to go to movies to get a quality experience at home.  The only thing that gets me to pay the $14,000 a movie ticket costs is if I simply cannot wait until a movie gets to rental.  The last two movies I saw in the theatres were Ironman and The Dark Knight.  Don’t think I am just an action movie guy.  I also really enjoyed P.S. I Love You.  Now, shut up about that last part.  My original point is that there are two movies I am very interested in seeing.  The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is an interesting looking film that I just haven’t had time for.  The second, and reason for this post, is TakenTaken stars Liam Neeson as a pissed off father of an abducted girl.  The problem for the kidnappers is that Neeson is essentially a Jack Bauer type super-spy who has the training and ability to find out who they are and fuck them up.  This sounds like a pretty bad ass formula to work with.  And, I have always liked Liam Neeson’s acting.  Here is the trailer.  I dare you not to be interested in this!
