What a crazy weekend! We are still in the middle of a much needed long weekend. Friday was a night out downtown and Saturday was a little bit of the same. Both nights involved a fair amount of the drink so I was hurting pretty good today. Saturday night was a boys night out and it continued a new trend for me: multiple dinners. I seem to be eating more than I ever have lately. I had dinner before going out for drinks. We then sat down for a full Chinese dinner after the bar. And then, not 30 minutes later, ate pizza! Let’s see how long I can keep this up before I start gaining weight! Anyways, here is a comic that has nothing to do with anything. I really am a big fan of the SMBC comics when they relate to god or religion. Enjoy!

Hello everyone. Once again I fail to write much at the end of the week. Things just get so hectic that I don’t have time to blog. Well, that isn’t completely true. It is more like I am either too drunk or too boring to have anything good to write! I did manage to check out a new spot downtown Toronto last night. I, as usual, forgot my camera! I did snag one shot with my BlackBerry though. I will write about that tomorrow though. I also plan to give you a before and after shot of my dentist visit on Monday. I broke a front tooth recently and need to get that fixed. No big deal…I have broken my front teeth about 10 times now. That’s the price of being a small guy with a big mouth! As per usual, here is a comic that has nothing to do with any of that. But, it is kinda funny in a “mock religion” kinda way. Enjoy!

- Hell week is finally over for me! I just finished writing 5 final exams in 4 days. I have to admit that I was completely burned out. I had absolutely no desire to do any studying and I am pretty sure my marks on those exams will reflect that. I walked into most classes with anywhere from a 90% - 95% average. I am pretty sure those numbers will drop into the 80’s once they have added everything up. Oh well. When you are as awesome as me you can find it hard to be motivated. I still have one major exam next week in my medical class. On that weekend I have to go in to do a practical exam. It’s kinda cool, they have actors come in and they create a scenario that I will have to be the first responder in.
- In other news it’s about fucking time that the weather started to warm up! I checked my archives and I was golfing on April 14th last year with Johal. Then on the 19th it was hot enough to wear shorts and we went golfing at Nobleton Lakes. Tomorrow looks to be really nice and I am dying to do something summer-ish. I might get some swings in at a driving range when I am done my morning class. If I do something cool I will be sure to get you more details. To be honest, I am looking forward to some boring days with school winding down for the semester.
- Since I always try to bring you something fun, here is a comic from Explosm. It is a little old because it is about Easter, but it is good enough that I really should have featured it much earlier. Enjoy!

Anyone who has been around this blog long enough knows that I enjoy making fun of religion. There was this post…and this one…and also this one! It is not that I am knocking people with faith, I just find it funny how people get so pissed off about it. Seriously, pretty much every religion teaches peace and we have used this as justification to kick the shit out of anyone who has a different version of this peaceful message. I find that irony pretty funny. And, to be fair, I will make fun of every religion…especially my own! That’s why I enjoy anything to do with Jesus being less than “bible-esque.” In spirit of that I have two things to bring you. One is the newest book I have decided to read. It is called “Lamb” and it is by some guy named Christopher Moore. Apparently this guy has built quite a library of books taking a funny/sarcastic look at things. In Lamb he delves into Jesus: the missing years. These are stories told by Christ’s best buddy growing up named Biff. I just cracked into it and so far I can tell you that it reads very well. It is a pretty cool style of humor, funny because of the topic but not so obvious otherwise. I would have probably finished the thing if not for the fact I have 5 final exams this week. It’s a good thing that I piss excellence! Back to Jesus. Here is the pic of the book. Now you know what it looks like so you can go buy it or rent it or borrow it or download it or whatever the hell you do to read things. And, just for fun, I threw in a comic on this topic from SMBC.

I hope everyone is having a better Monday than I am. I fell out of bed, cut my leg on an elliptical and managed to have a 38mm handling knock me over. For anyone with any experience firefighting, they will know that a 38mm is a glorified garden hose. I somehow lost control of it and had it knock me to the ground! I wish someone caught it on video because I am told it looked hilarious. Other than that I have a pretty relaxed week for once. I have some time to crack into a new book. The book deals with religion, but in a really funny way. I will explain all about it in another post. But, for now, I will give you a comic that has some relevance to religion. This is a good reason to study your bible if you are Christian. If you aren’t then we look ridiculous for praying to a dead carpenter so you can laugh at this anyways.

Happy Saturday everyone! I spent the first evening of my spring break doing what all students generally do…getting drunk. I also spent the first morning of my spring break sleeping in. How nice to be a bum again. Since this is Saturday morning (what…4pm is still morning) I bring you a comic from Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. I enjoy taking every opportunity to make fun of peoples deepest beliefs. So, take this Jesus!

A sure fire way to piss people off is to knock religion. I have never been accused of pulling punches, and if something is funny then I will post it! This is a very basic, but incredibly accurate description of the battle between science versus religion. You know how we could avoid these arguments? Finally accept that you don’t have to have one or the other. What’s wrong with having faith and being scientific? See, that’s how awesome I am. Maybe someday I will be elected the Space-Pope. This is awesome! I saw this from a Digg article linking to Incredimazing. I enjoy knocking both religion and education. Well, I will make fun of pretty much anything! My good-natured joking is for all, without discrimination. Even those who are religious should get a healthy chuckle out of this one!
