For a long period, Tiger Woods was one of my heroes. He epitomized superiority. Okay, I’m not fantastic, but when a heroic public figure is found to be so faded, it takes the hero out of heroism. All one has left is “-ism” — idiot, silly, moron. Is he an amazing golfer? You bet he is. Likely he will always be regarded as one of the best of all time.
I take that shot if I got that lie.
